Tottenham submit bid for La Liga star – who is also wanted by Liverpool
It is said that both Tottenham and Liverpool want the same La Liga star.
Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool both want to sign a star player from La Liga who is 22 years old.
The Japan international has played 39 times this season and scored seven goals and set up four others. Both clubs are keeping a close eye on him.
In the past, Arsenal and Newcastle United have also been interested in the Real Sociedad star. There are reports that he will be moving to the Premier League this summer.
TEAMtalk has already said that Liverpool is thinking about making Takefusa Kubo one of their goals for later this year.
He would play against players like Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski, and Heung-min Son, according to a new story. Tottenham Hotspur would like to bring him to north London in the summer.
Reports from Spain say that Spurs have made an offer of €50m (£43m) for Kubo, but that amount is probably not enough for Sociedad.
Since he moved from Real Madrid to La Real in 2022, the latter would get half of any sale, which is why La Real are asking for the most money for the talented winger.
Kubo has a deal in Spain that runs until 2029. He signed an extension in February.
Since he recently said he was happy in La Liga, it doesn’t look like he will be moving to England later this year.
“When there’s a renewal, it means everyone is happy, and that’s the case with me.” He told Cadena SER, “I’m very happy here, and I think the club is also happy with me right now.”
“I’m happy where I am and don’t want to lose focus. We have two games coming up that could make or break our lives.” It’s too much for me to think about other things right now.
