Tottenham now in £38m race to sign Leeds star that shares the same agent as Clement Lenglet

Promotion to the Premier League is certain to determine the future of a number of Leeds United players and Tottenham are interested in taking advantage for one star if the Whites do not go up.

The play-offs await Daniel Farke’s men after Leeds failed to finish in the top two of the Championship this season. Leeds now have to fight it out in the play-offs to join Leicester and Ipswich in being promoted.

The Whites begin their play-off campaign with a trip to Norwich, Farke’s old side, on Sunday afternoon. Southampton meanwhile, who beat Leeds on the final day of the regular season, take on West Brom.

Failure to get promotion is sure to see the likes of Crysencio Summerville, Willy Gnonto, Illan Meslier and more consider their future at Elland Road with The 49ers likely needing to sell if they don’t get promoted.

A drop in parachute payments and the tight stronghold of Financial Fairplay will surely mean Leeds may have to cash in one one or two big players and Summerville could be one the Whites are forced to sell.
