I’ve heard… – King says ‘door open’ for Tottenham investment talks, tips Levy to step back

As American investors talk about putting money into Tottenham, Bryan King thinks Daniel Levy might soon take a step back.

The former Spurs scout has asked Levy how much more abuse he can take in North London.

The news comes after a story in the Daily Mail on April 28 that the Spurs boss is still looking for investors. At least two US-based groups have shown interest in buying a part in the club and have been told how much it would cost.

That’s why King told Tottenham News that he thinks Levy might soon look for a way out.

“There’s no doubt that Spurs would only consider the right kind of investment,” King said.

There is, however, no doubt that the door is open, and I have heard of several American owners who want to join the Premier League.

Spurs is a big club that wants to get money. The question is how much is being offered.

Because he’s not exactly a fan fave, I don’t think Levy will want to be too involved with Spurs. It can’t be fun for anyone to get that much abuse.

Could Daniel Levy be looking for a way out of Tottenham?
It is clear that Levy has had a lot of money-making success with Tottenham lately.

He may not want to take a step back any time soon, but he also won’t want to keep doing what must be a very stressful job forever.

He might start to be less involved over the next few years, which wouldn’t be a surprise. One way he could do that is by making new investments.
