The band from Elland Road is already thinking about what will happen next.

It looks like Leeds United are ready to make a move to sign another exciting young player this summer, but they will have to fight hard to get him.

Rodon is likely to move to Leeds

It looks like Leeds United will try to keep Joe Rodon for good, no matter what happens in the last few days of the Championship season. The Welsh player is on loan from Tottenham right now, but he has had a great season at Elland Road under Daniel Farke’s management.

Rodon has played 41 Championship games this season, helping his team have the second-best defence in the league, just behind Leicester City, who won the title.

Tackles and interceptions per 902.4

He is out of contract at his parent club Tottenham in 2025, so this summer is their last chance to get any of the £6 million they paid to bring him from Swansea to north London.

Reports say they will ask for a fee of around £10m to get rid of the 26-year-old, which means they could make money. It will be easier to make a move if Leeds gets promoted to the Premier League, since clubs in the bottom half of the league are likely to have seen Rodon’s play.

The Elland Road team will hope that Rodon will choose them over other interested parties even if they don’t get the deal because of how well he has played this season under Farke. This summer, they will add more players to the team besides him.

Leeds wants to hire young people

Liam Cooper is set to leave the club this summer because his deal with Yorkshire is up and there are no plans to sign him to a new one.

It means that Leeds will need new players on defence, and Sport Witness says that they have chosen Anselmo García MacNulty from PEC Zwolle to fill the spot.
