Tottenham Hotspur make decision over Sergio Reguilon future amid summer transfer
It is said that Tottenham Hotspur has chosen whether to let Sergio Reguilon go in the summer.
The defender on the left has been signed to the North Londoners since 2020. He quickly became an important member of the first-team group.
In 67 games across all tournaments, he has scored two goals and set up eight others, but he hasn’t played for Spurs since the end of the 2021–22 season.
She has instead spent time on loan at Atletico Madrid, Manchester United, and Brentford, where she had mixed success during those three stays.
Reguilon would only start six league games for Atletico and United between August 2022 and January 2024. He would also come on as a substitute 15 times.

Reguilon has started nine Premier League games and come on as a replacement twice for the Bees. He has also set up three goals from full-back or wing-back positions.
Since Reguilon played well in the capital, he might have been able to get back into Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou’s plans.
From what Football Insider says, the North Londoners plan to sell Reguilon during the summer transfer window.
The player who used to play for Real Madrid is under contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until 2025, and it doesn’t look like they will give an extension.

The reason Spurs want to sell
In the first place, Spurs boss Daniel Levy will not want to lose Reguilon as a free agent in 2025. Reguilon is a big-money signing.
Spurs have also moved on from the player. At this point in time, Postecoglou has Destiny Udogie, Emerson Royal, and Ben Davies to choose from in the group.
Aside from that, the story says Spurs want to make money to add to their trade budget as they get ready to play in Europe again.
Fifth-placed Spurs will either play in the Champions League or the Europa League next season, as they have a 10-point lead over sixth-placed Chelsea in the Premier League results.
