Tottenham are furious after seeing what has happened to their 20yr old youngster on loan
Spurs are mainly thinking about the players they have at the moment, but they haven’t forgotten about the ones they’ve moved out.
Spurs fans fought Daniel Levy for years because they saw him make a lot of bad choices. But the head of Tottenham has done great in the past year.
It looks like Levy made a great choice when he hired Ange Postecoglou. Other hires, like Johan Lange and Scott Munn, are also looking good.
A loan deal Tottenham agreed to in the January transfer window, on the other hand, hasn’t worked out. Spurs are mad about that right now.
Tottenham is mad about what happened to their loan player.
Tottenham has eight players on loan right now.
Sergio Reguilon, Djed Spence, Troy Parrott, Ashley Phillips, Japhet Tanganga, Joe Rodon, and Alejo Veliz were all sent out so they could play more often.
These moves have had mixed results. Some have worked out great, while others have not.
It has to be Alejo Veliz’s loan move that was the worst. The 20-year-old football player went on loan to Sevilla in January and was supposed to play a lot. AS say that’s what Spurs were told when they agreed to the move.
The young forward has only played 23 minutes of football for Sevilla so far. He wasn’t even on the team for their last game against Celta Vigo, and it doesn’t look like that will change.
According to the story, Sevilla’s handling of the situation has made Tottenham very angry because the promises they were given have not been kept.
What the Spanish press say about Alejo Veliz’s move to Sevilla
Tottenham agreed to let Alejo Veliz join Sevilla on loan in January, which made a lot of people very happy.
The young player moved there, though, with a knee injury. He has only played 23 minutes since then, which is a sign that things have not gone well.
Victor Orta, who is in charge of football at Sevilla, has been attacked for letting Veliz sign on loan on the last day of the winter sales.
Last week, Diario de Sevilla said that the Argentine was signed just because, since there was no way to make the move permanent planned into the deal.
Tottenham has good reason to be angry at Sevilla for how they treated Veliz. It’s too bad that the Argentine can’t do much more than work hard and hope for chances here soon.
