Should not have been allowed: Walker claims £15M player was so good at Tottenham, it was a scandal

Not Harry Kane. If you ask any Tottenham Hotspur player from the 2010s, they will probably all agree on who the best player they have ever played with is.

Kane may have become Tottenham’s hero for hitting goals, but he doesn’t get much attention in this talk.

It’s not Christian Eriksen or Hugo Lloris. There is no way that it is Son Heung-min or the Belgian wall of Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld.

One more Belgian star, Mousa Dembele, is loved by all Tottenham players from that time.

Dembele gets a lot of praise, but his record of 10 goals and 12 assists in 249 games for Tottenham doesn’t really show how great he is.

That’s not all that shows how great Dembele was, though. He was a great box-to-box player because he could either dance past a player or just run right past them.

Dembele was very strong, had great balance, and had a great left foot. Tottenham fans will love remembering his crazy run through the middle of the pitch.

Even more respect has been given to Mousa Dembele by Kyle Walker. Dembele is proof that the numbers aren’t everything.

Kyle Walker, who used to play right back for Tottenham, told FIVE that Dembele was one of the best players he ever played with.

The great player for Manchester City put Dembele next to David Silva and gave Dembele lots of respect after working with him for years at Tottenham.

Walker spoke out against Dembele, saying that he was such a great player that he “shouldn’t have been allowed” to play.

Walker agrees that Dembele was missing goals and assists, but he thinks that Dembele had everything else he needed to be a top Premier League star.

Walker said, “He is a scandal, he is a scandal–a scandal!” “Dembale didn’t have any assists or goals,” Aside from assists and goals, he was bad at everything else, and it shouldn’t have been okay.

“One million percent,” he said when asked if Dembele could play for Manchester City right now.

Because of their sheer numbers, Kane and Son will go down in Spurs history as heroes, which they deserve to be.

It’s silly for them to keep up the numbers they have for as long as they have.

But cult stars like Dembele will always have a special place in the hearts of fans. No Tottenham fan who saw Dembele play will quickly forget how great he was.

Not bad for someone who joined from Fulham for £15 million.
