King admits it doesn’t look good as fresh Tottenham injury news emerges
Bryan King, who used to work for Tottenham, said that Manor Solomon will have a “question mark” over him after this week’s treatment report.
Solomon hasn’t been seen in a Tottenham shirt since September 30, when he came off the bench in a 2-1 win at home over Liverpool.
Since he had surgery on his knee on October 6 (BBC Sport), Solomon was supposed to be back in time for Spurs’ 1-0 FA Cup fourth-round loss to Manchester City at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on January 26.
But this week, Tottenham revealed that Solomon had another small knee surgery. King thinks this will make people doubt his long-term chances in North London.
King only told Tottenham News this: “Solomon is under contract with Tottenham, and they can’t do anything until he’s healthy again.”
“I feel sorry for him because having to have another surgery after being out for five months doesn’t look good.”
“This makes me wonder about him, even though doctors and surgeons are very good these days.”
“However, I don’t think anyone should talk about anything until he gets fit. Only then can people decide if he will stay with Tottenham or not.”
It will be very important for Manor Solomon to get back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and make a mark under Ange Postecoglou.
Solomon played and added to the music, even though it seems like a long time ago.
In one of his two Premier League starts this season, the 24-year-old set up two goals as Spurs beat Burnley 5-2 at Turf Moor (2 September).
He made a difference in games even when he wasn’t starting, and Ange Postecoglou liked having him in the team.
Since September, Manor Solomon hasn’t played for Tottenham. So, this new information will make the Australian very angry, and Solomon will be eager to get back on the pitch as soon as possible.
