Nowhere to be seen: Tim Sherwood says Ryan Mason was pointing out £25M Tottenham star v Fulham

This week really showed what Tottenham Hotspur Football Club is all about.

You beat your top four rivals easily in their own backyard, but then you lost to a team in the bottom half of the league.

To be fair, Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham team did deserve to lose 3-0 to Fulham on Saturday.

In an interview with Premier League Productions on March 16, 2014 at 7:45 pm, Tim Sherwood talked about how well the middle played and how Yves Bissouma was “nowhere to be seen” for Fulham’s second goal.

The former Spurs manager saw Ryan Mason, who works as a coach, point out how much room Yves Bissouma was giving to Fulham players.

The player who cost £25 million had a terrible day. He played badly in his place and had a terrible first touch.

In the end, Ange Postecoglou took him off with a yellow card just after the hour mark. However, some fans would still say it should have happened sooner.

From the start, it was pretty clear that Tottenham wasn’t committed, and it would have been easy to make changes during the break.

It was bad that Yves Bissouma
He told her, “You can’t just leave the park like that.”

“Maddison is moving too quickly.” Bissouma is over here and can’t be seen. Sarr is on this side.

“The park is all his alone.” Ryan Mason is making the point because everyone can see it. On the field, the boys need to understand that. The boss can only do so much.

“In the end, it’s a good ending. But you leave the park’s middle area open. People say that Tottenham tried to put pressure on, but their defense was terrible. However, Lukic did a great job. He jumped into the box. Bissouma still had to follow him in after that. He almost sees him leave.

The London club was going to finish in fourth place and play in the Champions League. This was the strongest sign yet.

Though they were still two points behind, they had already played and won a game, giving them a much better goal difference.

Fast forward to now, though, and Spurs have given the lead to Aston Villa.

The team led by Unai Emery will play West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday. It will be tough for Tottenham fans to watch because they’ll probably be rooting for the Hammers.
