Pundit suprise fans as he delivers disappointing prediction for Fulham v Tottenham
Chris Sutton tried to guess the score for this weekend’s game against Fulham and said that he thinks Tottenham Hotspur will only be able to draw with the Cottagers.
Tottenham is back on track in the Premier League after two straight wins over Crystal Palace and Aston Villa. They are now only two points behind fourth place.
Especially the win over Aston Villa could make a huge difference in the race to qualify for the Champions League. Spurs still have a game in hand over Villa, but Villa are still ahead.
Spurs look like they’re hitting form at the right time. They’ll be hoping that this form can take them through their next game against Fulham, which is before the international break stops the season.
On Saturday night, the Lilywhites go to Craven Cottage. The team led by Marco Silva is currently in 12th place. They have had a rough season overall. Last weekend, they lost to Wolves, but the week before, they beat Brighton easily.
Chris Sutton thinks Tottenham and Fulham will tie.
Chris Sutton was asked to guess the results of the future Premier League games on the Fantasy 606 show. When asked to pick a winner between Spurs and Fulham, he said that the game might end in a tie.
“Oh dear, Fulham are good at home, and I backed them against Tottenham this week. I’m going to say 2-2 now.”
In Our Opinion
I don’t like to get too excited or sure of myself, but after what happened last weekend, I don’t see us losing points against Fulham. We don’t mean to insult Silva’s team, but we need to keep winning games like this if we want to compete at the top of the league.
I think we’ll win. I think Spurs will win 2-0.
