You would suppose that the next level you take is one below if you aren’t good enough for Tottenham Hotspur.
When Eric Dier was on his way out in January, everyone assumed that, since Ange Postecoglou had made it obvious that Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero were his starters.
However, Eric Dier moved to Bayern Munich after leaving Tottenham, where he is currently a starter and has just led the team to the Champions League quarterfinals.
Eric Dier plays a high line in Munich, but as Tim Sherwood mentioned, that’s the reason he left Spurs in the first place. Dier told Premier League Productions on November 3, 24, at 5:35 p.m.
The former midfield player was discussing Ange Postecoglou’s high-risk style of football and how the team’s current center backs can handle it.
Tim Sherwood believes that Eric Dier and Cristian Romero are comparable in terms of pace, but he believes that the Argentine’s willingness and “nasty” nature set him apart.

Regarding Tottenham’s high line and big space defense, Sherwood stated, “That’s why Eric Dier isn’t at the club anymore.”
Romero isn’t the fastest, though. He and Eric would most likely be just as fast as one another.
However, he is ready to remain further up the field. He makes contact. He is vile. He is shrewd and ready to work with this guy (van de Ven), who seems to save everything. Take a look at him and his quick return to the scene.

In the Bundesliga, Bayern is probably going to lose to Bayer Leverkusen for the championship.
That actually isn’t Dier’s fault because, in January, the 30-year-old did find himself in a mess.
However, there’s a good probability the German powerhouses will prevail in the Champions League. There are players with those old medals in that locker room.
Furthermore, Tuchel did lift that trophy with Chelsea after leading PSG to the European Cup final, so there’s a good chance it will happen again.
