Gary Neville thinks 23yr old Spurs target is leaving after latest developments

Gary Neville thinks that Chelsea may have given away a hint on Tuesday night that they might be willing to sell Tottenham Hotspur target Conor Gallagher.

Chelsea beat Middlesbrough in a very good game to make it to the Carabao Cup final. The first leg took place at the Riverside Stadium, and Mauricio Pochettino’s team was down 1-0. But the Blues beat the Reds 6-1 last night to get to Wembley.

It’s interesting that Conor Gallagher was left on the bench for the second match at first. The 23-year-old came off the bench in the middle of the second half and set up two goals.

Despite this, there are rumors that the England player might leave.

Tottenham may have been given hope about Conor Gallagher

Gallagher could be bought by Tottenham before the end of the January transfer window. But after spending so much on players over the last couple of years, the Blues may have to consider serious offers for some of their stars. You would think that they would not normally allow him to leave.

Gary Neville first asked Gallagher if he was really going on Sky Sports (aired on January 23 at 19:00). He also said that the thought had crossed his mind when the pundit said that Pochettino’s choice hadn’t done much to stop rumors.

“Yes, that’s what I thought when I saw the team sheet.” “You’ve spent so much money that you have to sell a pretty good player to pay for it,” he said.

There is still time for Spurs to ask the question.

Since January has been pretty quiet, it would be a big surprise if Tottenham could agree to a deal for Gallagher before the big day.

Spurs have been busy so far, though, as they have signed Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin. If they want Gallagher, they might be tempted to at least ask the question.

They may want to test Chelsea’s resolution to keep him even more now that he didn’t get to play in the semi-final.
